We can install mineral wool systems with a total depth of 300 mm where suitable. The required depth depends on the product, existing insulation and loft construction. Your survey and quote will set out the proposed specification.
Can new insulation go over existing loft insulation?
Sometimes. We first check existing material for damp, contamination, compression and gaps. Unsuitable material may need removal before new insulation is installed.
Can I use my loft for storage after insulation?
